Creating the foundation and overseeing the new construction of a 138-acre, $2 billion mixed-use complex is challenging enough for any general contractor. Add in a brownfield location, and Atlantic Station is an exceptionally complex project that required extraordinary cooperation among its developers, designers and general contractor, VCC, to complete.
Located in midtown Atlanta, Atlantic Station is a city within a city with 400 multi-family units, 805,000 square feet of retail space, and one of the largest parking decks with 8,000 spaces. VCC successfully coordinated the construction of infrastructure for the entire complex, organized communications and schedules with multiple developers, government agencies, and other builders to ensure an on time and on budget completion.
