201 Office Building

The 201 Office Building is a 17-story building with a three-level underground parking garage. It is located in a revitalized industrial area of Atlanta where brownfield remediation was used to relinquish the site of contaminants before construction began. The narrow urban corridor and a complex mix of foundations systems make this a remarkable building.

VCC was responsible for all new construction on this elegant high-rise office building. 201 is clad with an aluminum-frame curtain wall continuous with full height tempered glass, topped by an elegant metal trellis structure. Hampered by a constrained staging area, the project met its time goal of 18 months while also balancing the LEED certification requirements.
