Construction Budgeting & Estimating

Construction budgeting and construction estimating are essential to an accurate commercial construction budget.

We know that the construction budget is the most important part of any project. We believe that our involvement early on in the project will enhance the performance of the work and is a key to the overall success of the project. Our team will work closely with the design team during the development process, providing costing information on material selections, construction methods and scheduling input. This collaboration allows us to be certain that the project budget is always maintained.

VCC believes value engineering is much more than reducing the overall project cost. Our estimators, project managers, and field supervisors evaluate a project using several different tools. For example, our construction estimating software maps historical cost data onto a BIM model that will help to provide a close estimate for use in preliminary cost analysis review and discussions. Revit, BIM software, then captures a broader and more complete spectrum of information as more requirements and specifications are gathered. These tools, along with digital takeoff software, allow team members to make informed decisions
